Day Eighty One – Hip to be square

day81fb

A couple of posts ago I pictured my son looking cool.  I was cool at his age too, but I grew out of it.  I haven’t been cool since about 1979.  This was the year I first had a social life outside of my family at the local youth club.  This is when I found out that people trying to be cool often weren’t.  I wasn’t cool, and so I stopped trying.  Cool finds you, not the other way around.  You are cool or you aren’t.  However even if you are not cool, make sure you’re not uncool!
